Depending on the weather, you might be able to get it to harden or it might not. I use this topping for ice cream and I am sure if you put a drizzle on top and wait some time it will not stay soft but harden. You'll enjoy it

My hot coffee did pair well with it, though.
There is no real flavor to it. While it isn't spectacular like I expected, it should be adequate for the time being. When I get Carmel syrup again, I'll just buy regular Carmel syrup. A quick update The weeks of 08 to 17 February 2020 2 weeks ago I received this and after opening it, I put it in the refrigerator. The liquid became so thick that it is no longer able to flow out of the bottle. A bit of a nasty taste also comes with it. This is not something I will be buying in the future, so I am getting rid of it. The regular Carmel sauce will be bought from another brand. As well as one that contains no high fructose. Perhaps I should have listened to what other reviewers had to say.
I am so happy that I did so. I think the ratio of salt to caramel is good here. This is a product I would highly recommend.
I'm not impressed with these compared to local ones, but they aren't awful either. The liquid was very runny and created a big mess. There was no way I could verify the legitimacy of this product since it arrived stickier-runnier than usual. Having said that, given that the temperature was only 50 degrees, it wasn't the hot weather that caused the problem. I don't know what to do now. I love to drink hot coffee, cocoa, and eat ice cream with it. It was a big hit with the kids, definitely buying it again.
Caramel is one of my favorite flavors so I add a few drops to my coffee and use it over my vanilla ice cream dessert.
In addition to being tasty, the syrup arrived on time and in a good condition. Although, the special edition measuring spoon that should have come with the package did not.
