Iam not referring to mirin wine. It is much darker, sweeter and more mellow than mirin.
Rice, water, and wheat make it up, but I'm not sure how it's made.
There is a Chinese component to this product. Cooking curry chicken with it is my favorite way to use it

There aren't any Shaoxing varieties available to Americans, as is the case with most other varieties. The same is true here. A cooking salt contains 5% salt, which is why it can only be used to make food. Shaoxing from Pagoda and Jia Fan brands have the best salt-free quality to me. However, this item does perform as advertised, and therefore receives a full rating. There appears to be a marked shelf life of approximately 3 years for the bottles. When the bottle is not used daily, expect it Is six or more months old). Items arrived in very secure packaging with a very tight-fitting lid The styrofoam cylinder is designed for crushing A durable and impact-resistant material.
As I read through a number of blogs about Chinese cuisine, I noticed a recurring ingredient in many dishes Shaoxing Wine. As I read more about it, I heard the same thing this ingredient is what differentiates your at-home Chinese cooking from the food served in restaurants. I wasn't familiar with this ingredient, but the more I read, the more I heard. I concur with the high recommendation for this brand. Here is where you should begin. I highly recommend Soeos Shaoxing Cooking Wine for anyone wanting to learn more about Chinese cooking at home.
My order arrived quickly and was exactly what I needed for my Kung Pao Beef recipe. Rich flavor and high quality taste make this a great product.
The best ingredients are used when you are cooking Chinese food.
In the past few months, my family has not wanted to do take-out, and I miss Chinese food a lot. When I found some great blogs, they often referred to this wine (type, not brand) and that one of the main reasons at home Chinese food does not taste as authentic is because people do not use it. It is my understanding that you do.
As far as my needs were concerned, it worked well.
The purpose of my purchase was to make a specific recipe that called Soy sauce is what I tasted, and it is good. My next step will be to use white cooking wine with a little more soy just to finish the bottle. There is a good chance that the same results will be obtained. Furthermore, considering how much I need for this recipe, I'll only get 4 servings out of this bottle, which is not a lot for such an expensive product.
We have been using this brand for a couple of years and like it . . . it was packaged very well and very impressive.
