With no added sugar or alcohol, this mirin is good for the whole family! Mirin is an excellent, healthy drink to enjoy with the whole family
5/5

The product is naturally made without the addition of sugar, alcohol, or other unwanted In addition to being a staple in Japanese cuisine, mirin has become one of my favorite dishes over the years as I have taken up more traditional Japanese During my recent purchase, I paid $23 for two bottles. There were only a few prices I could find on Amazon, and the lowest was $99 from JF Distributions. These bottles usually cost around $10 per bottle at Whole Foods, but during these somewhat unusual shopping times, it has not always been possible to buy what one needs directly from the store. Not only did the seller ship out these items lightning fast, but he also packaged them so securely with so much bubble wrap in between and around each bottle that there was no possibility of damage during transit, and both of these attributes have been noted and highly appreciated. Please let me know if you have heard of a comparable brand of mirin In terms of price and health, I'd definitely be interested in one that is less expensive than Eden, but just as healthy. As of yet, Eden Mirin seems to be living up to the old saying, "you get what you pay for. ".

That brings back memories of Southeast Asia for me
5/5

It was a dish I used to have in Okinawa that was on my mind when I was stationed there. The chicken yakitori is here! My search for a recipe turned up some that looked really good, but the recipe called for Mirin, which I wasn't familiar From Amazon, I purchased a two-pack to finish the recipe. It turned out beautifully! Now that I know what Okinawan Yakitori tastes like, I can better prepare it. Many of the bottles in the cupboard are always readily available to me. I will purchase this product.

You get what you pay for
5/5

When searching for mirin, it's hard to find something that's actually brewed instead of just alcohol with sugar added•this will go a long way•would have preferred to buy just one of those bottles. Now that I have my life time supply, I will never meet another mirin product, so make sure you get the real thing.

Its sweetness is just right but not excessive
5/5

Many dishes that I've used Mirin in have been a hit with me over the years. As far as I can tell, this brank of Mirin is the best I've found to date. It does add a hint of sweetness to just about any dish, yet it does not overpower. My order of two bottles was a great decision. You can't possibly go wrong with anything from rice to vegetables to chicken to seafood.

A Mirin with the best flavor on the market
5/5

Mirin that does not contain high fructose corn syrup as the first ingredient (or any ingredient, for that matter) is hard to find. Keeping this mirin natural is a great idea! Thank you, Eden!.

Mirin that is authentic
5/5

There is nothing better than Eden Foods Mirin when it comes to Stir fry and marinade are some ways that I use it. A traditional method is used to make it. Rice, Rice, Koji, Sea Salt -- these are the ingredients of this rice cooking wine that prove its authenticity.
