This product appears to be GMO-free to me, but I am unsure. As it is an extremely nice, buttery oil, I just keep buying it out of habit because I will not replace it with anything else. My apologies for not being able to help you.

There is no doubt that macadamia oil tastes like butter, and it is a delicious finishing oil to use when cooking and baking. I tried this oil the first time I cooked with rice- it tasted awful and I could not eat more than a bite of it. My husband tried cooking with it the following day and it started smoking and smelling like burnt popcorn practically immediately. In general, I think this can be deemed as a very low quality oil and I doubt it is pure. Although the price has gone up, we will stick with the brand we used in the past.
It's the product I use every day on my daughters' hair. Their hair was dry and they were mixed. Healthy eating is easier and more convenient than unhealthy eating. I like it a lot!.
Therefore, I experimented to see if the flavor of the oil would be better if it were nut oil. Putting a shot glass full of this oil in the fridge overnight at about 40 degrees helped get rid of the taste. A solid state was not reached. I expected it to be firmer than refrigerated EVOO, but it poured just the same as room temperature. This is what I did with my EVOO, and it worked. Unless the monounsaturated fatty acids and relatively high stearic acid (free fatty acids) are replaced with something adulterating like soybean, sunflower or safflower, the products of this oil will always solidify. It could also be some other oil at a lower price. The oil has no value until Roland or its importer prove that it is the same as they proclaim it to be. The confirmation is done by an independent third party. Get in touch with reality.
One of the few oils that penetrate the hair shaft is macadamia oil. The mask acts as a hair mask overnight for two weeks and it leaves my poor abused hair feeling amazingly soft. What do I mean by bleach, box dyes, color remover, more bleach, more dyes (I know, I'm such a slob), and hair dryers, curling irons, and straighteners you don't use heat protector on? There were a lot of tangles in my hair. I like this oil because it is easy to wash out, smells good and is fast-drying. As well, I use a gentle shampoo to remove the gunk, then I follow up with a few drops of conditioner just at My hairstylist told me my hair was healthy and receptive enough to receive some low level color correction after just two nights of sleeping with this oil slathered on my hair.
There is no way to contact customer service regarding the quality of the Although I am in opposition to posting a bad review before asking for an alternative method to resolve my concern, it appears that there are no other options. In the four days immediately preceding my order, I ordered this oil A manufacturing date of 11- is given During the time the product was stored in my home at room temperature, the product was exposed to direct sunlight. There's no way to explain this to me- It's actually quite nice to use this oil and used for cooking, though the label does not look like the picture. The ones on the website state "made in France" while the ones I have received for use in subscribe and save ALWAYS do not state that, but instead state on the back, It took me a while to write the company about this, and they did get back to me. However, they wanted me to send them the lot information, etc. All of the ones I have received have been That means either their product will work or won't work. Now that I'm switching to a brand I trust, I also want it to be organic.
I tasted musty oil that was ineligible for use after it had expired by two years.
It is scented, looks like vegetable oil, and tastes like it. Several months ago, I bought Macadamia oil from a farmers market (search for "living tree community macadamia oil"), and that oil smelled like nuts.
