The product was a good buy. Good delivery timeframe with Prime. Only that afterwards, I noticed it was more expensive than other cooking oils. To be considered in future would be shopping at supermarkets or using supermarket deliveries.
In the beginning, we didn't know what to use it for but now we know An oil that can be used for many purposes This is the best chicken I have ever had. I have baked it, fried it, and sauteed It's pretty much the same oil we use every day. There is no hint of spoiled or rancid food. There is a slight difference in color between the Crisco oil and this oil, as well as no difference in taste. I don't necessarily consider the thin packaging a negative, but I do think it is unusual. That they were able to develop a durable package with fewer plastic pieces is great news.
I'm amazed at how much oil is there. Immediately brings to mind the movie There Will Be Blood. There is no drama, of course. There will be a lot of cooking when the container is huge and there is a lot of oil. I recommend it for you if you are the super cook of the family -- for the price and delivery (if you have Prime). The topic of flavor is up for discussion. The only way this works is if it makes my food taste better. As of yet, I've never touched the golden goodness that is this oil, so I don't know what its complexities are. For the price, quantity, and well, the reminder of the movie, this was a bad deal. Cooking oil is just what you need when you run out.
It is the bottle that has the problem here, as this oil is fine for general use. A smaller bottle is kept beside the stove to decant the wine into. As the bottle is so large, it is unwieldy to pour, and the plastic is thin, so you have to hold the bottle by the handle to prevent it from flapping around. The top is fitted with a handle, which makes it easy to hold because it's nearly impossible to keep it in your hands.
This was quite a surprise when I got my package because the oil didn't leak or break and contaminate the rest of my items.
The product was fine, but it was much more expensive than what I could have bought from the store. I got it fast without having to run to the store because I bought it for my conscience.
My purpose in buying the oil for quarantine was to make cookies and brownies with it. I'm glad I selected the larger bottle since it will last me for quite some time. It can be used to make cake box cookies by simply adding half a cup of oil and two eggs to it. Turn the oven to 350 degrees and cook until the potatoes appear.
It does exactly what I need it to do crisps things up without being too heavy, too smoky, or too smelly. The quality is always good, this lasts a long time, I haven't had any issues with it. * I have purchased this three times so far.
