The oil from flaxseed I use for salad dressing is great. It may be better to use this brand for a wood finish due to the way it tastes. Bitter in taste, it sticks to the tongue immediately For eating, I would not recommend it.
A fishy smell can be detected in this
A pan I used mine for was seasoned with it. In case I had wanted to get rid of it, I could have just used water and soap.
I believe so!

The flaxseed oil I use now is the first time I've ever had a problem with it. Additionally, the top of the tank leaks quite a bit. When I use it, I put the lid on, and sure enough, there is oil running down the side once I am not impressed by the product and will probably not purchase it.
The packaging was cold so I wasn't expecting a good product. The 32 ounce bottle was packaged in a padded envelope, so it wasn't shipped cold. I was not satisfied with the oil it is very bitter and has a metallic chemical aftertaste. I am not satisfied with the oil in any way.
Then, after removing all the old season layers and bringing it back to a preseason state, I began to coat it with I like the way the pan looks.
This is the best product I have ever used for seasoning cast iron! This coating has a high smoke point and a good It's the best oil for seasoning that you can use for this purpose. Please let me know if you have any questions. To season cast iron, scrub it with steel wool and baking soda (steel wool and baking soda usually do the trick) and place it in the oven for a few hours at 325°F. Turn the pan upside down into the oven and rub down with a thin coating. Towel most of the oil off and set the pan back When cooking, just turn the heat down to low and slow, and the pan will heat evenly and maintain heat for a very long time. If you need to get food off, use rock salt or a bristle brush while washing with only water. Do not use soaps, they are completely You can dry things off or leave them on the burner to allow the heat to evaporate any There should only be a need to re-do it The use of seasoned salt on a daily basis is once per year. Do not cook tomatoes because they will lose their flavor faster due to the acidic nature of their coating.
Turn on your oven and put your cast iron in it. To clean the oven automatically, set it to self-clean. The seasoning will all come off when it's done. Place this magical potion in an oven for 1 hour at 400 degrees Fahrenheit. When cool, add a layer of it and bake it. You will be able to restore the black look to your cast iron. For a thicker seasoning, just keep adding more layers of this and back to the oven at the same temperature for the same length of time, and you will have an extremely dark pan, pot, or skillet. Whenever I need a seasoning, I reach for this one.
The product is fantastic.
I used it to season my cast iron and it worked great! Once it had been in the oven for some time, it had become almost non-stick. Hopefully there will be no quality issues in my next update!.
The flavor is quite strong at first. If you are putting it in food, start with only a few Grasshopper Farms' Organic Granola Oats and Milk Mix is what I have every night. This butter adds a nice earthy/nuttiness to food. Before I cook brown rice, I add it to it as well. That is an excellent compliment for you. My next purchase will be after I run out of this.
