In order to enhance the taste of my baked goods, I purchased this product. There is no smell, but it dissolves in water, which was convenient, but it also This is not like buttermilk (I use the manufacturer's directions where 1/4 c product is added to a cup of I couldn't taste any butter milk in it either. I thought it tasted like butter that was melted in milk, but it was more watery in nature. The baked goods I made did not seem to have the same texture as those made with buttermilk. It was my hope that I had found a good replacement for buttermilk with this product, but I'll probably toss it and buy the real thing instead.
