There is a disturbing fact that each time that I purchase the Morning Moo's milk from Augason Farms, the price jumps right afterwards to an unrealistic amount. I recently purchased a can again since it appeared that the price was once again decreasing. Nevertheless, it has leaped up again since then. When I look at the prices of preserved foods on Amazon, I normally buy products from Augason Farms because they offer the best quality of preserved foods. It has better tasting products than Mountain House, for the most part. Augason Farm's Morning Moo's milk however is one of my favorite milks. But I cannot afford the price that just jumped up, so I'm not buying it again. This product originally received a perfect score from me. In addition, I just reduced it to 3 stars due to the new price of around $25, which is far too high of a price.

I thought I had reviewed this previously, but I cannot find it. In my opinion, this is the best powered milk I've ever tasted. In addition to it, I add astragallic powder to it, and then slowly refrigerate it until approximately 1/2 gallon has been consumed. It is about the same price and tastes about the same as regular milk. You can store the powder for months, as opposed to a few weeks. The milk in regular bottles is insufficient for that. * * *There is no comparison between this and other powdered milks. It's a lot better than that. To compare this to real milk, there is no comparison. I add the correct quantities in accordance with my estimation (I mix the contents harder than called for by the instructions). In a blender, I add these ingredients. To about half of the hot water, I add it to the blender. By adding air to the mixture, the blender creates a homogeneous I then add cold water to the mixture and put it in the refrigerator. After it is mixed, the milk is good right away, but it is better once it has been.

This can would be difficult for me to open! Powdered milk products I have tasted over the years ranged from bland to rich in flavor - some tasted watered down while others were flavorful. I was unable to open the can with my electric can opener because it was so large.
