However, read the fine print before you purchase this brand, as it is the best tempura batter mix that I have used over the years. I did not purchase the considerably larger boxes that I have in the past purchased from my local market since this is only a 10 oz box. It is likely that I would have given this review 5 Stars regardless, but I was deeply disappointed by the small size.

Fish and chips made with this product are the best! My local grocery stores used to sell this brand, but I was thrilled to see it on Amazon

Before, we could find this brand at our local grocery stores, but now I have to buy a cheaper and inferior brand. In the process of making fish and chips, we use this quite often. If you plan on using beer (or water), be sure it is ICE COLD. Grab your cod, dip it in the batter, and deep fry it until golden brown. Cold liquid means you need to remember that.
