I looked everywhere for a BBQ Shake N Bake product and ended up buying this. Despite my best efforts, I had yet to come across any BBQ glaze. The Shale N Bake, on the other hand, is fantastic. It's definitely worth a go. Perhaps in a smaller order, 8 boxes would be excessive.
I'm not sure because I haven't seen them. You might want to get in touch with ShakeNBake. com and direct your question to them.
There are instructions on the box, but proceed with caution. The description stated that there would be eight boxes in the package, but we only received one, and when I complained, I received no response. That is to say, it is outrageously priced.
Personally, I've noticed that when I cook my chicken at a higher temperature, it becomes gummy and burns (both of which are strange to me). Because of the fat content and thickness, the pork does not dry out and does not gum up or burn (if you use the thick cuts). If you don't have a problem, go ahead and do whatever you want.

For at least a few months after the publication of this review, I advise against purchasing this item. Kraft's equipment should be fixed by then, hopefully. br>br>First and foremost, let me state that I adore this product; I enjoy BBQ chicken, but I live in Michigan and cannot grill all year. During the colder months, this BBQ Shake n Bake is a good substitute. br>br>Not the product, but the packaging, was the issue with this order. When I received the order, I began opening the boxes and discovered that one packet in each box had a seam about 1/4 the width of the packet open, and the coating mix was out and loose inside the box. br>br>I requested a replacement from Amazon, and when it arrived, it was in the same condition as the first. The coating mix was loose inside one of the packets in each box, but the other packets were fine. br>br>It appears to be a packaging equipment issue. The outer case box and the individual boxes were both sealed and undamaged, implying that the open packets were placed in the box in this manner. I placed the order in October of 2020, and all of the boxes had a January 2022 expiration date, so they weren't out of date. br>br>Because I now had two cases (Amazon didn't want the first one back), I removed the sealed packet from each box and tossed the rest. So I still have one case of product, but I won't be ordering it again for a while. br>br>I gave it three stars because the product is fine; it's just a temporary (hopefully) issue with Kraft's packaging equipment. I've also emailed Kraft to alert them to the problem.
I was let down. The flavor has deteriorated to the point where it is no longer recognizable as barbeque. I really liked this product, but it needs a lot of work if it wants to stay on the market and sell more. For years, I've been a fan, and I've always recommended it to anyone who will listen. Sigh. Still, it's usable and can be referred to as a glaze. It's not that the flavor is bad; it's just that it's not barbecue.
When I was younger, I was a big fan of this. For the first time in decades, I ordered it, and they've completely changed the recipe; it's lost all flavor and now has a flour texture (sure enough, the second ingredient is flour, but who puts flour in a bbq glaze?). br>br>I tried it with two meals and will be discarding the rest; it's too bad they changed the recipe; why would they?.
No, only one box was delivered. Don't fall victim to the same deception that I did!.
The Great Value Smokey BBQ version, on the other hand, is lower in sodium and sugar, and costs less than $2 per box. At $18-$20, this item was a good buy. $22 for 8 is reasonable, but $35 is excessive. br>br>How about the coating and cooking process? You'll be pleased with the results if you enjoy BBQ flavor and follow the instructions.
There's nothing I don't like about this product except the rumor that it'll be phased out. I couldn't find it at Meijers, Kroger, or WalMart, and the stocker said it was not on their warehouse order list. I'm hoping he's mistaken and it hasn't been pulled off the shelves. In most cases, the best items are retired. We use it on chicken and pork, and it adds a lot of flavor to the dish. br>Our first order from Amazon was lost in the mail, so we had to place a second order before we ran out.
And I was ecstatic. It is, without a doubt, delectable. I intend to place another order. I didn't realize it was actually 8 boxes of Shake N Bake, totaling 16 individual pouches (though the description is correct); that's a lot of Shake N Bake. Prepare yourself for the worst.
This Shake n Bake BBQ flavor is hard to come by, and when I do, it costs $3. 50 or so per box, so buying in bulk saves me money and ensures that I have this on hand. You'll receive 8 boxes, each with two coating pouches, so be prepared to clear a shelf!.
