My Whole Foods only carries regular panko, which is strange because you'd think a store dedicated to whole foods would stock a whole wheat product.
I paid 99 for three boxes of this product, of which I only received one. Where have the other two vanished to? I'd like my $7 back. 98 back or the other two boxes are your options!.
For months, I've been looking for this item in my neighborhood stores. I couldn't believe my eyes when I discovered them on Amazon! I was hoping that these Panko Whole Wheat bread crumbs would be a healthy and delicious alternative to regular bread crumbs. It's precisely what I was looking for.
Whole wheat Panko has a lot more flavor than plain Panko, and it adds flavor and crunch to your food. br>For some reason, whole wheat Panko has vanished from grocery stores and Walmart, despite the fact that they had all carried it for several years. I'm not sure if it's due to a manufacturing shortage or what, but I'm glad I found them on Amazon, and if my local stores don't get them in again, I'll continue to buy them here, even though the price is significantly higher than in the local stores. That's why I docked two stars for Value For The Money. I believe the higher price is due to shipping, and that it would still be cheaper if it could be found locally. However, I am aware that shipping is an expense. br>I am dissatisfied with the fact that it was shipped in an Amazon plastic bag and that the box was severely crumpled and dented. The Panko comes in an aluminum bag inside the box, and the crumbs and bag were fine, but now I can't hang the box on my pantry door hanger rack, and I don't have a brand box to store the bag of Panko, and the bag is unmarked, so I'm hoping it doesn't become a mystery bag when I forget what's in it.
It's great for breading a variety of meats (and it's crispier than regular bread crumbs).
They crisp food in an air fryer as well as in a skillet. I've ordered them several times and have been pleased with the results; however, my main criticism is that they are significantly overpriced. I feel like I'm being overcharged because the company has the resources to do so.
The box was shattered upon arrival.
Despite the fact that the product stated that it came in a 6-pack, I only received one for less than $5. For $1, you can get this box. SHOP AROUND AND SAVE AT MOST STORES, SUCH AS TARGET, WALMART, AND OTHERS.
