I'VE BEEN USING THIS BATTER IN THE CULINARY FIELD FOR YEARS AND INSTEAD OF USING COLD WATER I USE HOT THAT ACTIVATES THE BUTTER MILK AND AND BAKING SODA ACTION BATTER AND THEN LET IT SIT AND RISE FOR 30 MINUTES AND THEN STIR DOWN INTO A THICK BATTER THEN POUR IN SKILLET AND COOK THEY MAKE OVER AND INC.
