The box was crushed, an item was lost, and I received a nice note from the Seattle hazmat postal crew stating that the white powder was determined to be "pancake mix," which I love as do all Alaskans. But, as a patriotic American, I'll feel bad about causing an anthrax scare because my pancake mix spilled. I'll make another purchase.
I had no idea what I was going to get. This smells like packing tape fumes and appears to be a fake product. I'm going to use it to make pancakes, but it smells like plastic, and I'm not happy with it. br>br>Recent changes: br>br> I made a batter that looked like plaster but turned out to be pancake batter. Even after they've been cooked, they still have a distinct odor. They have a mousepad-like odor to them. Yuck. I should get the sealed bags to avoid smelling like a warehouse full of chemicals.
This pancake batter is fantastic. It has a nice, fluffy texture and a pleasant taste. You get a lot of bang for your buck with this purchase. All I have to do now is add water and mix, which is far superior to other mixes that require the addition of eggs or vegetable oil. In the long run, it is more cost-effective. If your pancakes are too thick, simply add a little more water; it's that simple!.
My family only eats these pancakes, so it's a good thing Amazon sells it. Even when adding more liquid, they turn out light and fluffy, unlike other mixes that turn out dense.
br>br>I prefer thick pancakes, so that's what I started with; they were light and fluffy! Sponge cake multiplied by ten! As I chewed, I had the impression that my teeth were bouncing off them. It's almost terrifying. br>br> Before throwing out the batter, I decided to make thin pancakes to see if I had mixed it properly. Sponge should be thinner. Blah! br>br>I like that the mix is "just add water" and doesn't appear to contain any artificial preservatives or other additives. (However, what caused all that "sponge"? ) However, this mix produced the worst pancakes I've ever tasted. The nearly seven pounds will be thrown away. I'm terribly sorry for squandering my funds. There isn't always a good deal to be found.
Biscuit and pancake mix is a well-known product. For all those years, we'd been missing out. Krusteaz is a far better option. It makes a soft, fluffy, and delectable pancake when combined with milk. This pancake mix, in my opinion, is on par with homemade pancake recipes, which I've tried as well. We haven't considered using anything else since we started using Krusteaz. That's how good it really is. This bag's size is also very practical- There is no need to resupply on a regular basis. I would strongly suggest it.
Normally, I don't give anything a five-star rating. Despite the lack of a star rating, this pancake mix is fantastic. They have a great flavor (thick and fluffy), are simple to prepare (just add water), and are inexpensive. br>br>We used them for a pancake dinner on a college campus, and each bag contained about 150 pancakes. We didn't hear a single negative comment, but we did hear a lot of people raving about how delicious they were (granted, they could have been drunk and didn't realize it, but they like the pancakes regardless). br>br>My only criticism is that the recommended water ratio was not the one we used. The ratio on the package made it a little too runny, but that's simple to fix. br>br>Overall, this pancake mix has a great flavor.
I'd always used Bisquick, but a good friend insisted I try this, and I'm very pleased with the results. It's a pancake mix that requires only the addition of water, making it extremely convenient to use on the go. For the fluffiest waffles, all you need is an egg, a little oil, and some water. The family pack lasts us nearly a year, so the value for money is excellent. When it comes to an on-the-go environment, the- This will give your pancakes and waffles a homemade flavor.
