Questions & Answers

Does it have a low carbohydrate content?

There are 30 grams of total carbohydrates (5 grams of fiber) in a half cup (53 grams) serving. There are 14 grams of protein and 2 grams of fat in each serving. The carbs aren't particularly low, but they're less than many popular pancake mixes. When comparing, make sure to look at the serving size. Some portions will be significantly smaller.

Has anyone tried combining the protein-rich superfood with the protein-rich superfood? In that case, how did the waffles/pancakes turn out?

To make the superfood version, just add more whey protein and/or egg whites. Several people on y o u t u b e have done this to increase the protein content of the 14g version, but I'm not sure if it would change the pumpkin flavor.

Is this certified kosher?

It is, in fact. However, the kosher sign can only be found at the very bottom of the box.

What makes this different from the regular frontier pancake/waffle mix versions?

HIGH PROTEIN AND FIBER COMBINATIONS. br>When it comes to baked goods, cereals, and other high-content foods, this combination is superior to either one alone.

With a Few Minor Changes, Wonderful Fluffy Pancakes We had some of the fluffiest 1/2-pound cookies after making a few minor changes to the package directions
5/5

We haven't had pancakes this thick in a long time, and the mix came out too thin when I followed the package directions exactly. The directions call for a 1:3 ratio, which we found to be too much for us. 1 cup each of water and mix, but the batter was a little runny when made that way. br>br>Here are the changes I made: instead of water, I used milk. Because we wanted more protein, we added an egg (these options are also listed on the label). I started by pouring 1 cup of milk into a mixing bowl, adding 1 egg, and hand-whipping for a minute to ensure that everything was well combined. Next, I added 1 cup of the mix and folded it in gently, being careful not to overmix or agitate the starch too much, as this can result in tough, rubbery pancakes. The mixture was too watery after gentle combining, so I gently folded in some extra mix from the box, a tablespoon or two at a time, until it was thicker but still pourable. If I had to guess, I'd say I added about five or six tablespoons more of the mix, but it's difficult to say because I always eyeball it. (I've been making pancakes this way for years, so I suppose I've developed a feel for it. ) Before pouring, I made sure the griddle was nice and hot on medium high heat. (When you splash a few drops of water on the griddle, they dance and evaporate almost instantly, the griddle is ready. ) ) For each cake, I melted a pat of butter, poured on the batter, and left it alone until bubbles formed and the edges looked golden, then flipped and cooked for another 30 seconds or so. The pancakes came out fantastically. We will definitely buy more of this mix because it is nice and fluffy (as seen in the photos). It is also very tasty. br>br>(Note: This is a shortened version of the original. ) It's worth noting for the more experienced bakers out there that I live at about 4500 feet above sea level, so I'm not sure if that would be considered high altitude in the case of this mix or if my preparation methods would change at a different altitude.

This pancake mix is one of my favorites
5/5

This purchase includes delicious, healthy ingredients as well as a financial savings. I bought a six-pack of buttermilk flapjack mix. These pancakes are one of my favorites, and I've experimented with a variety of protein-style mixes. I was skeptical at first because I dislike the taste of whole wheat products. You can't tell these are whole wheat pancakes by their taste or appearance; they also don't burn easily and cook up dense and fluffy. Finally, but most importantly, this mixture will not cause a blood sugar spike! I always get hungry after eating regular pancakes or any other protein mix blend. This mix keeps me full for about five hours after I eat breakfast, and that's with only one serving of 53 grams of batter, according to the nutrition label. Great buy, I'm glad I found these online; they're very tasty, have clean ingredients, and the box purchase on Amazon is less expensive, so I highly recommend them!.

They are appealing to me
5/5

My family adores pancakes, and I am the family's pancake king. However, my pancake consumption has been limited due to my recent diet. Let's not get into a debate about what constitutes a healthy diet. I try to avoid refined sugars and 'empty' carbohydrates in my diet. I tried banana eggs as a substitute and found them revolting; however, I discovered Kodiak Cakes and fell in love with them! They aren't ideal in terms of nutrition. They are high in fiber and protein, but they are not wise. In terms of flavor, I prefer them cooked in a little olive oil. I eat them plain, as if they were flat bread. With a little diced apple, they're even more delicious. They won't appeal to everyone, but if you've given up processed sugars, you'll find that they have a lot of (good) flavor.

Pancakes vs
5/5

Flapjacks: What's the Difference? Flapjacks, in my opinion, are thinner, heavier, and larger than a griddle-marked pancake. "GRIDDLE MARKS!" I'm talking about. When a thinner batter hits a hot cast iron pan that has been well oiled, you'll understand what I'm talking about. The Kodiak Cakes Protein Power Cakes, FLAPJACKS and Waffle Baking Mix, Buttermilk is delicious (yum!). And it's great that you're doing so well! ), but, like any other man (e. g. , Tim the Tool- There's always room for improvement in life, Taylor. Cinnamon, ginger, vanilla, a smidgeon of vegetable oil, an egg, and a splash of milk are some of my favorite additions. If you're feeling particularly brave, try mixing in some True Orange orange crystals. The only thing you need to measure is the amount of "FLAPJACK MIX," the rest is to taste, except for the milk, which you should add until you reach the desired consistency. I prefer mine thin, so I increase the amount. And as for the pancake, well, what can I say, it's served on a non-dairy basis. Stick the surface until it's a light golden brown color, thick and fluffy, and ready to soak up a gallon of maple syrup. You could even make a cake out of three of them. Now that everything has been said and done, I believe you have a better understanding of where I stand; however, this is just my opinion. Let me know how you're doing! The no-name Chocolate Flapjack at the end has a diameter of well over 12 inches and was baked in a 15-inch pan. It's not on a regular dinner plate; instead, it's on my microwave's glass turntable. WOW! Mark.

These are fantastic
5/5

/2 cup of mix, combined with an egg and milk, keeps me completely satiated throughout the morning. I get these a few times a week - I can make pancakes any morning if I have enough time. Someone at my gym who follows a high-protein, low-carbohydrate diet recommended this mix to me.

Improved "High Protein" Recipe: For the past two years, we've been making our own improved version of the buttermilk Kodiak Cakes' "high protein" recipe
5/5

Pancakes and waffles are made to perfection with this mix. 3 cups Kodiak Cakes mix (or 2 cups Kodiak Cakes mix + 1 cup Bisquick), 1 cup milk, 1 cup buttermilk, and 1 cup eggs are the ingredients in our recipe. We thought the results were good before we added the buttermilk as a third of the liquid, but the buttermilk elevates the pancakes and waffles to a new level. When making the pancakes, we use fresh blueberries. Any leftover pancakes keep well in the fridge and can be reheated in the microwave for 30 seconds.
