Go ahead. try one. This mix can be used to make biscuits, dumplings, sweet bread, chicken coating, doughnuts, apple fritters, and buttermilk bars with a few tweaks. After eating these, I had a really bad reaction. If you have a wheat allergy, don't put your trust in it.
For over 6 years, I've been looking for a gluten-free pancake/waffle mix or recipe that could compete with my old favorite gluten-filled pancake/waffle recipe. I've tried so many different mixes and recipes that I can't even begin to count them all. My hunt has come to a conclusion. I bought this on the spur of the moment because my kids enjoy Kodiak's regular gluten-free delicious mix. I had no expectations of it being good, as I always do. THE EXPERIENCE WAS OUTSTANDING! I made and ate two more pancakes right away because they were so good. I then made the banana nut muffins from the recipe on the back of the box the next day. That was also fantastic! Moist (unheard of in GF baking), soft, and the closest texture I've ever seen to regular flour. I just placed an order for three more boxes of this. My fellow gluten-free sufferers, RUN and click BUY on this stuff!.
The old recipe was far superior. This new formula is abrasive and revolting. We are not going to buy anything else in the future.

I've tried every gluten-free pancake mix on the market because I have Celiac disease, and these are hands down the best, and pancakes are one of my top ten foods! They're not only high in protein, but they're also tasty and fluffy. When it comes to gluten-free products, fluffy is a rare find. I discovered that using a little less milk than the recipe calls for gives the best results. To add variety, I've added blueberries, bananas, and even pumpkin.
The package size and preparation method have changed, but the quality has remained the same. I'm not sure why the product was different in this order than in the previous one, but it's still available. Because I couldn't find this product in any of the stores near me, I used Amazon to get it. It's gluten-free, so it's not cheap, but the flavor is very similar to a non-gluten-free product.
I ordered this based on the description, which didn't say anything about eggs. I'm allergic to eggs, so I won't be using this. I am now unable to return it after only one week. I'm baffled as to why.
