You've discovered it! I used applesauce instead of oil, and next time I'll use almond milk instead of regular milk; the pancakes are fluffy and delicious; I also added cinnamon and vanilla, and my kids loved them! In the second photo, instead of oil, almond milk applesauce is used, as well as egg whites, cinnamon, and vanilla. It's fantastic! Will buy again without a doubt.
This is the best gluten-free pancake mix I've ever used. We've tried them all, and these are gluten-free, dairy-free, and soy-free. My children, in particular, adore them. Here's how I get them to be as fluffy as regular pancakes: remove the eggs - 1 tsp cream of tartar whisked into the whites until frothy, then combine all ingredients (reserving the yolk) as directed. This extra step takes 90 seconds to complete, but it is well worth it.

This pancake mix is one of my favorites. I have Crohn's disease and don't have any symptoms when I eat or afterward. That's not to say that everyone with Crohn's disease will have the same good results. I only began eating gluten-free and soy-free a few years ago, and most gluten-free substitutes taste like cardboard to me; however, this mix is delicious! I can't tell the difference between a and a non-a. Gluten-free pancakes that are made from scratch. I make them with almond milk as a milk substitute, and they're delicious. If I want to make a crepe, all I have to do is add more milk! Though you can make half of the box, I prefer to make the whole thing. I kept the batter in the fridge for over 48 hours, adding a little milk each time to liven it up. In fact, I believe that refrigerating the batter before cooking improves the flavor of the pancakes! ) Good luck with your pancakes!.
As anyone who has been forced to go gluten-free knows, substitution is a science that hasn't been perfected yet. Not at all! This was my very first attempt at making gluten-free pancakes. I made the batter and used two cups of vanilla-flavored, unsweetened almond milk instead of regular milk because I didn't have any on hand. I figured that since the package says you can use almond or soy milk instead of regular, I'd be fine; the vanilla flavoring would just be a nice touch. It was gritty and lumped. Oh no, I thought, this will just be another gritty, bad-guy movie. Like gluten-free bread, it's a textured mess. I proceeded to pour the batter onto the griddle once it reached the desired consistency. They were fine to make, just like regular pancakes. Eating them wasn't nearly as bad as I had feared. They were slightly rubbery, and the raw batter's gritty texture had vanished, but they're not going to fool anyone into thinking they're the real deal, know what I mean? I topped my pancakes with butter and real maple syrup, and they were surprisingly tasty. Overall, I was pleased, but GF baking, in my opinion, still has a long way to go.
We've experimented with a variety of gluten-free products. Over the last few years, I've gotten a lot of free pancake mixes from Costco. They were, to be honest, mediocre. I saw a deal for King Arthur (6 boxes for under $12) and decided to give it a try. I wish I had bought a lot more than six boxes for that price; this stuff is incredible. It's beneficial in more ways than one. It's good because it's free. It's so undetectable that we can't believe it's gluten-free. free. However, now that I like it, I'll have to pay the regular (relatively high) price; oh well, I'm glad I found it.

THIS IS THE MIX TO BUY IF YOU WANT A VERY GOOD (bordering on EXCELLENT) GF PANCAKE. br>br>Another thing to keep in mind is that It says on the box that it makes 16 pancakes, so I guess it depends on the size of your cakes. We made a total of 24 4 - inch pancakes. 5" wide . and they're all delicious.
They make the best gluten-free pancakes I've ever had, and I've tried a lot of different brands. These look and feel like the real thing. Because they're a little bland, you'll probably want to add some vanilla cinnamon or whatever flavor you like. We bought a waffle iron/maker after trying the pancakes and made Belgian waffles with vanilla, cinnamon, and fresh blueberries. They were so delicious that I think the mix is much better for waffles, and they heat up much faster in the toaster. The only drawback is that the mix is so delicious that it's easy to eat too much of it:.
