It took me years to finish a package of carob that had been in my cupboard for years. Even after years, it still tastes great. But I just received a new package, and the difference in taste and freshness is obvious. So I know that this product is superior. I enjoyed the old package quite a bit, but my new package is state of the art when it comes to freshness, cleanliness, and taste. It was okay but not great when I used another brand of carob powder years ago.
