Carob is not the same as chocolate, and many carob recipes are kind of weird. I found that these taste more like chocolate than the other carob products I've It's a nice treat to have them. In terms of price, they are about the same as chocolate chips of higher quality. In terms of taste, these are similar to Halloween chocolate (so don't expect a Ghirardelli taste folks), but unlike halloween chocolate, these do not I am really glad I discovered these, and I plan to buy them regularly from now on.
