This is my secret ingredient for French bread; I melt butter and combine it with Salad Supreme before toasting it. I get so many compliments on my bread at family gatherings and potlucks, and everyone always wants my recipe; I've also added it to salads, but my French bread is a big hit! I keep extra on hand at all times because I never want to run out!.
You're probably eating a lot of salads if you're gaining weight as a result of your age, as I am. I am fully aware of this. Because I eat so many salads, I've developed an aversion to Italian dressing. All that salad can get a little boring and uninteresting pretty quickly, and by pretty quick I mean after the first forkful, because my diet is so high in greens that I don't defecate anymore, I compost. McCormick's Salad Supreme seasoning comes to the rescue in this situation. It adds a nice flavor punch to any salad without being too spicy or hot. The kick I'm talking about is more of a flavor boost than anything else. I'm glad Amazon sells this product because it's hard to come by in my neighborhood. It might seem like a lot to order all at once, and it won't fit in the seasoning cabinet with the small jars, but it's a small price to pay for the amount of flavor this adds to a salad. I give it a 10/10.
gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) or gastritis are two conditions that I fill a salad bowl halfway with this, then liberally sprinkle it on top, drizzle it with olive oil, and stir it all together. It tastes great and doesn't require any vinegar. Iceberg lettuce, baby greens, portobello mushrooms, garbanzo beans, real bacon bits, and sunflower seeds are my current favorite salad ingredients. Thank you for including larger bottles in your selection!.
Keep an eye on the date to see if it's still valid. I like the product and the price, but the expiration date (which is only 8 months away) makes me very unhappy. That is completely absurd! I checked the expiration dates on the other spices I recently bought at the grocery store, and the earliest date is 12/2021! The next time I go grocery shopping, I'll get this.
When I asked her for the recipe, she told me the secret was McCormick Salad Supreme! I looked for it in the supermarket but couldn't find it. Amazon, thank you very much! I made pasta salad as soon as I got it, and WOW, this was the missing component! I'm never going to make pasta salad without it again! Others had mentioned that they had received bottles that were close to expiration, so I was a little concerned. Thankfully, the bottles I received have an expiration date of March 2021!.
In the days when Salad Supreme was invented in their R&D facility in San Francisco, Schilling Employees in the D department were given the opportunity to sample products they were developing, which I thought would be a big hit! I was correct - it was the late 1960s. It has stood the test of time, and our family doesn't consider garlic bread complete without a sprinkling of Salad Supreme!.
The name "Salad Supreme" is deceptive, so three stars. There's nothing about the flavor of this that suggests it would go well with any kind of salad. Perhaps a potato? Aside from that, the flavor is dominated by paprika. So, if paprika on a salad with a twist of other spices appeals to you, go for it. Otherwise, a variety of other seasonings can be used to flavor and enhance the flavor of salads. This appears to be better for cooking and adding to soups, chili, and other dishes, as well as for grilling meats. On salads, however, it's a different story. In my opinion, this is not the best or most ideal application for it.
I couldn't find it anywhere, so I turned to Amazon for help. I used it in a large batch of pasta salad for a party and it turned out fantastic! People continue to ask me how I did it!.
