McCormick Bac'n Pieces has long been a favorite of mine. Since the outbreak, they've been difficult to come by in stores, and store brands simply don't cut it. They're bland and salty, so Amazon comes to the rescue. I can now eat as much Bac'n and cheddar quesadillas, Bac'n and cheese scrambled eggs, and peanut and Bac'n snacks as I want.
These aren't the healthiest of snacks, but they're a tasty crunchy vegan topping for salads, soups, and casseroles. I make a creamy cashew dressing and toss it with fresh crisp greens, corn, sliced red onion, and English cucumber. Dry roasted sliced almonds and Bac'n pieces are sprinkled on top. It's absolutely wonderful.
I'm not sure why these aren't available in stores anymore, but as a vegan, I enjoy them on salads and even add them to cooked greens for a smoky flavor.
These Bacon Bits are my favorite. They go well with salads and baked potatoes.
Anyone who is vegan or gluten-intolerant will enjoy the flavor, value, and presentation of this dish. I'm all of these things, and I love them, but I honestly have no idea what the real thing tastes like. They could be enjoyable to you as well.
Plant-based foods are something I enjoy eating. Salads benefit from the addition of this ingredient.
Tastes exactly like real bacon, but without the saturated fat, and keeps for four years in the fridge.
It has a foul odor and a foul taste. It has a chemical odor to it. I'm not sure why we bought two, but after using one on my salad, we threw them away.
