The bag has a capacity of 20 ounces. The total weight of the two bags is 40 oz. There is, indeed, one. In a single bag, there's a total weight of 25 pounds. The bacon is delicious and a good size; I use it in salads, vegetables (green beans), eggs, and other dishes. Breakfast bowls/pizza, for example, are examples of prepared foods. Almost all of the food is made up of meat. It's an excellent way to boost the protein content of your meals.
Yes. It can be frozen, just like any other cooked bacon. Because these are small pieces, freezing them for an extended period of time will cause them to become too dry. I'd say three. 6 months is a good time; I'm not an expert, just someone who buys these from Costco on a regular basis.

It wasn't a bag of dried fat that I recall seeing. When I first opened the bag, I was pleasantly surprised to find moist bacon - I added it to my salad and realized I was chewing on large chunks of fat as I was eating it. We frequently receive these bags, and this one is noticeably fatter than usual. I'm not sure I can eat most of it. Also, these two bags are more expensive than they would be if purchased in a store. I didn't mind paying a little extra to have it delivered to my door, but it's not really edible.
The entire bag was drenched in grease and stuffed with huge chunks of fatty meat that were completely unpalatable. I'm a fan of soft, fatty bacon, but this tastes like rubber chunks! The bag was almost half fat, but once separated, the rest appears to be fine, if a little soggy from the grease. Overall, I'm disappointed that the bag is probably unusable for more than half of its weight. I would not purchase this item again.
I don't usually write reviews, but I was so dissatisfied with this purchase that I felt compelled to do so. I should have paid attention to the other reviews, which stated that the bags were mostly fat and oily. This was proven to be correct. I had previously purchased this product from Costco and found it to be excellent. However, buying them here resulted in two bags of mostly oily fat crumbles that were nearly inedible. I ended up discarding more than half of both bags, effectively squandering my $30. I'm a little upset about this purchase because I won't be able to return it and I'll be out of money. I'm not sure if the "good bags" go to Costco and the "seconds" are sold here, but if you don't like oily fat crumbles, I'd avoid this purchase.
a word of warning to buyersbr>Both packs came with unreadable or smudged expiration/freeze by dates, which cost nearly $40. I didn't see the point in risking my life because of the ongoing pandemic. I'll check the bacon bits later to see if they're stale. Be wary of the buyer!.
Very versatile and improves any dish! Great in omelets, salads, pastas, vegetable dishes, soups, and more! I'm so relieved that I won't have to fight the Costco crowds to get this item!.
Great flavor, but perhaps a tad fatty. br>You come up with new ways to incorporate bacon bits into your cooking.
It can be used in any recipe that calls for crumbled bacon. It's impossible to overestimate how useful this product is. It has the same flavor as any freshly cooked bacon I've tried.
You won't run out of food as often if you use large bags. I use it to top salads, eggs, and whatever else comes to mind.
