Red wine vinegar is the one I use. It produces the best results, in my opinion.
We don't get a sugary taste from it. It's possible that the vinegar you're using has something to do with it.
On the site, to the left, there is an image of the ingredients that you can enlarge and read. If you're concerned about gluten, this dressing mix contains wheat and soy. It is to me, and I figured others might be interested.
As a salad dressing, I use it on fresh greens. It goes well with chicken, but I haven't tried it with pork yet.

This is a dry mix that makes a tasty salad dressing, but you'll have to make it yourself with oil and vinegar, and the quality will vary depending on the other ingredients. It was $12 when I bought it last year, and it has increased by $8 in the last eight months. It's far too expensive at two dollars per pouch.
GMO foods are something I choose to avoid. It's a shame because I enjoyed the flavor.
I previously ordered this dressing mix and was pleased with how fresh it was. On the bottom of this box, there is a new expiration sticker with a future expiration date. The packets should contain loose mix, but these packets contain caked-on mix with little flavor; I'm disappointed and will shop elsewhere!.
I'd previously purchased these and had no problems, but this time the package was covered by In Seasons. The box was not too shattered, but each package had a hole in it. There was enough spilled to fill a single package. I kept them, but I think the packaging could be improved.
I live outside of the United States, and it's wonderful to be able to continue to use (and purchase) products that I enjoy. This is a pantry staple in my house. It makes the most delicious salad dressing imaginable - I use it for tuna salad, dips, and a variety of other dishes because it's a fantastic marinade. PLUS, it's a ten-pack, which is fantastic!.
This is a product I've known and used for years, and it's also a favorite of my international family. As a result, whenever I travel, I always bring some with me because that is what they expect me to bring. I think it's delicious and simple to make, and it can be varied by using different vinegars, for example. My only issue is the plastic cover, which does not last long enough, and I believe the glass container should have one as well.
The very best! This is something I've been using for as long as they've been making it! It was difficult to locate just the envelopes without the cruet during Covid. Several cruets are in my possession. Anyway - The best dressing I've ever had - you can use any oil you want. vinegar. I like to make their Parmesan chicken by coating the chicken in the parmesan and garlic salt packet before baking it. This ten-pack is not a good deal. It shouldn't cost more than $2 per pack. I did it, however, in order to replenish my supplies.
For many years, I have used this dressing and seasoning. br>Follow the recipe exactly and avoid using expensive ingredients. That's all there is to it! br>Vinegarbr>Oilbr>Waterbr> br>There's nothing fancy about it, and it's delicious!br>Use it dry in spaghetti sauce and meatballs as well!.
