It varies, but if it's available in stores, I'd expect it to be shorter. It's a powerful substance that still tastes good after the expiration date has passed. I once received an order with a date that had been brushed away by acid. It was, however, enjoyable.
There is no garlic listed among the ingredients, which also include 1 mustard seed, salt, jalapeno peppers, turmeric, paprika, and "spices."
I suppose my response is a matter of personal preference. Short answer: I've been enjoying this mustard for several years and have ordered two bottles at a time. I find the flavor to be strong Jalapeno but not overpoweringly so. Tabasco sauce is another example that comes to mind. Tabasco is a condiment that I use on a variety of foods. I use it because I enjoy the flavor, but it isn't a particularly hot sauce. I prefer not to eat with a spoon in either case. I hope this has been of assistance.

In my fridge right now, there are probably six or seven different kinds of mustard open. Jalapenos are a favorite of mine as well. For several years, this has been my go-to mustard. br>I used to buy it at the grocery store, but I haven't been able to find it there in a few months, so I was thrilled to find it here. It's currently less expensive per bottle than what I was paying at the grocery store, so that makes me happy. The underlying flavor is a nice bright "yellow mustard. " On top of that, there's a great jalapeno kick that lets you taste the peppers' true flavor rather than just the heat. Because everyone's taste is so different, it's impossible to rate heat levels, but you can definitely feel the pepper's heat. It's not particularly hot to me, but I'm from Louisiana, so I'm used to spicy heat in a lot of the foods I eat. If at all, someone who is sensitive to spicy heat should use this sparingly. br>At the end of the day, I highly recommend this if you enjoy mustard and don't mind a little heat. It's full of flavor and works well on sandwiches, burgers, and as a marinade or dressing base.
This spicy, hot mustard, which is similar to yellow mustard but with a kick, is one of my favorites. It's spicier than Wober's spicy mustard, which tastes like deli mustard with a kick to it. Both of them are favorites of mine, and I alternate between them depending on my mood and the food I'm eating. br>br>The sell by or best by dates were obliterated on the bottles from this seller (Zulera). The date on each bottle was etched with brush marks, as if it had been brushed with corrosive acid to render it unreadable. The roughness was palpable, and the date was almost discernible. I simply placed the unopened bottles in the refrigerator when I discovered this. I've noticed no loss of flavor or strength because this stuff is so spicy. br>br>So enjoy the product, but keep in mind that the date it can be sold in stores is approaching or has passed.
When I lived in the Midwest, I bought this a lot. I haven't seen it in any of the grocery stores in North Carolina. Cal. Because I now eat much spicier foods than I did back then, this mustard appears to be milder. I mixed it with 50/50 yellow mustard, as is customary in France. I prefer it this way because it's more interesting. The French's is bolder and spicier, whereas the Woeber's has a different flavor profile thanks to the jalapenos. , but this mustard isn't particularly spicy (insert more jalapenos!).
My local supermarket no longer carries a reasonably priced jalapeno mustard that is better than the old Kroger brand, has more of it, and is less expensive. It doesn't have quite as many jalapenos as something like Silver Spring, but I couldn't care less about the difference in quantity. This product has exceeded my expectations, and I will purchase it again.
Okay, this mustard is the bee's knees. I like mustard and I like spicy foods, so this was the ideal combination for me. It's not too spicy, but it has a nice flavor. Almost anything goes with it.
This is my absolute favorite mustard, and my local supermarket no longer carries it. It's a little more expensive here, but it's well worth it for that extra kick of heat in my sausages!.
I no longer use plain mustard; this has that extra kick that elevates burgers, hot dogs, potato salad, and everything else. . . IMHO, of course.
It's not always easy to find, but then again, many others may have discovered it as well.
