I contacted the manufacturer, who informed me that they make every effort to remove all seeds, but that they cannot guarantee that all seeds are removed, and that "one or two" may escape. Again, every effort has been made, and this is as close to pure as any product can get. I only use this brand, and I have to be careful because I have dietary restrictions. Because there are so many different ways to purchase this product on Amazon, all I can recommend is that you read the description, which includes the price per ounce. I once ordered several cans of this product, but only one arrived, costing nearly $2 per ounce. I had no choice but to cancel the order and return the SINGLE can. Please be cautious when ordering this product; if the description does not specify the number of cans and the price is nearly $2 per ounce, DO NOT ORDER THE PRODUCT. The number of cans in most of these products will be specified.

I like their sauces a lot - EVERYTHING IS AT RISK DURING SHIPPING. 3rd order update (December 2020). Normally, there aren't any issues, but this was in a case box and was larger than my usual order of 2 to 4 cans. The cans were dented all the way down the side of the case box after I unboxed it. It's as if they were harmed in the warehouse rather than in transit! EACH AND EVERY CAN IN THE CASE WAS DENTED - BUT IT IS DENTED AND IS USABLE. AS A RESULT, THE SHELF LIFE IS KILLED IN ABOUT 6 MONTHS OR LESS. Check to see if the top hasn't bubbled up. If it is, do not use the product. br>************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************* br>I use it in soups, spaghetti sauce, and as a topping for tamales. br>br>In a skillet, combine 1 extra large can of spaghetti sauce (suitable for a family) and 1 cup of water. In fact, if my cans were empty, I'd have three. br>I used panty years ago and had issues with it, but I figured it would be better by now. Nope.
This is an excellent product; the tomatoes are of high quality, and Muir Glen does not use BPA, so there are no toxic chemicals to worry about. I had previously ordered these from Amazon with no problems, but they arrived late and in poor condition this time. The sides of all of the cans had been bashed in, making them difficult to open. I was able to partially open a can in order to push the lid up and extract the tomatoes, but there was no way I could remove the lid completely. Hopefully, this was an outlier, as Amazon's price is reasonable, and I intend to order this product from them again.
This is always a fantastic product, and it's one of three that I'll purchase from an organic producer. I usually buy whole and diced tomatoes from my local Sprouts store when they have a sale in three or four case batches at a time. I despise asking for assistance at the cash register, but after three shoulder surgeries and a dance with the auto-repair system, I'm forced to do so. Lifting case goods at the store is no longer a source of pride for immune witches for far too long!br>Prime Pantry on this item was a real gift. I can have it delivered, and there are some sales that I can keep an eye out for. Win win. I cut the box open at the door and walked three cans at a time to the food pantry, despite not knowing how my sweet Delivery driver feels about this last order of 16/28 ounce cans all in one box.
They have such a rich flavor, and I use them in my soups in the winter. Without a doubt, Muri Glen's wonderful tomato products are due to organic growing, but roasting the tomatoes? For all of my winter soups and chilis, I can't get enough of the fire-roasted, organic Muir Glen's!.
Everything they're put in tastes great. I use diced tomatoes in a lot of my recipes. This product has an excellent flavor and quality. br>br>I would highly recommend this brand. br>br>However, many of the cans had very large dents in them, which disappointed me. They were then sealed after being packed with the dents. This cannot be allowed to continue! I'll give it one more shot to buy this way. I'll buy them from someone else if they get dented again. Thank you very much.
Contamination with severe denting is far too dangerous for my family's health. br>I'm not going to order anything else.
