Hunt's Diced Tomatoes with Basil, Garlic & Oregano, Keto Friendly, 14.5 oz

It was posted on a blog that recommended using seasoned, diced tomatoes for making homemade tomato basil soups. Approximately one hour had passed since I ate the soup, and I had heard angels singing when I tasted it. Whenever you have no fresh herbs in your kitchen and just want to get something cooking, these tomatoes are a great side dish to give your recipe a little complexity. In addition to cutting them into strips, I also mixed my diced onions and garlic in butter in my Dutch oven bottom with some butter and pulled two cans of these tomatoes out from the refrigerator. In the meantime, we have 1 in place. A blend of basil-infused olive oil, followed by 5-pound slices of Roma tomatoes, roast them in the oven at 400 F for 40 minutes. This cooking should be done in batches rather than all at once with onion, garlic, dried sundried tomatoes and extra light-duty oil. After the tomatoes were roasted they all merged into smooth sauce. It will work fine, if you choose to make it by immersion blender or making it by mixing it with half a half and one or three large eggs with a heavy cream added during blending if you select dairy free. The basil soup I have tried does not require straining because it has already been heated in a high simmer before the canning process, but it would be better if you wanted to let it cool for a few hours instead of straining it. This recipe has had time to develop the flavors, which allows the dish to taste like it had a lot of time in which it was ready. They appear to be great in my marinara sauce as well.
