Yes. You can eat them straight out of the can or cook with them. As much as possible, I eat organic foods. I bought these mushrooms because I discovered that every other brand of canned mushrooms on the market was imported from another country. These mushrooms originated in the United States of America.
On the label, there is no mention of BPA. Only the following ingredients are mentioned: 'certified organic by PCO' is added to the list of ingredients, which also includes organic mushrooms, water, and sea salt.
Because we use the entire can of USA grown corn, I have no experience with packaged mushrooms. If you Google "how long do canned mushrooms stay fresh after opening," you'll get the answer.
I don't recall ordering these because it's been a long time since I did. I purchased these because they are made in the United States. All of the other canned mushrooms I saw in different grocery stores were imported from other countries. This is an excellent item.

Dishes; It turned out to be very tasty and delicious! We'll continue to order them on a monthly basis, without a doubt! )br>br>Order some mushrooms if you're a mushroom fan!.
The cans were leaking, were stuck together, and had black mold growing on them. All of it had to be thrown away.
Drain and sauté with butter to top a grilled steak or a piece of chicken, or use in soups and stews. The best is fresh, but it spoils quickly and becomes slimy. Keep a stockpile of canned 'GEMS' on hand. You will not be disappointed.
I order them online because they're hard to come by in some stores, and when I do buy fresh mushrooms from a wholesale club, there's usually some waste if I don't use them all right away. These do the job and taste great in all of my recipes. Chicken marsala, pizza, rice, stews, and a variety of other dishes are available.
I love having these on hand to use in a variety of dishes. It's very handy.
It's tasty, but there's a lot of sodium in it. I give it a good rinse under running water before patting it dry.
Although I prefer fresh mushrooms, these are a great substitute. The texture and flavor are excellent. When you need to add mushrooms to a recipe, this is a great tool to have on hand.
Until I discovered these, I kept a couple of cans of "store brand" in my pantry. I've used them in almost every recipe I've ever made since I first opened the can. They may be a little more expensive than you're used to, but I believe they'll outperform any generic brand on the store shelf.
