Ensure that there are no dents in the Hominy had been a long time since I had it. Therefore, it should come as no surprise. It is impossible for me to find any ready-made meals at any of the nearby supermarkets You can make hominy with a canned product! In contrast to the usual white hominy, my parents used to serve this once in a while. I've never tried golden hominy before. There is at least some resemblance to how tasty it was a few years ago. The texture of the cake is soft Aside from the price and the excess salty liquid that takes up too much room in the can, it has a number of downsides. In order to reduce the salt content of the kernels, I washed them once. I found it at Amazon to be the cheapest/cheapest I could find. The only dented cans I had were those from one of the reviewers my cans were in perfect condition as well.
It is worthy of the extra cost. I will purchase It's very similar to what we make when we make chili, which is called Spanish hominy. You can use ground beef, onion, chili powder, whatever you like. The yellow hominy looks more appetizing even though it is not more nutritious. There are some brands we buy in the store that are off color and have dark spots. Softening up to the point where you can enjoy eating can be an attempt of patience. There are also times when the store is empty. They may have run out of the yellow variety, so we will try the white.
My friend recommended Amazon to me, and I'm glad she did. It was good to eat, as well. Chili con carne, pork chops, and hominy are all made with the mixture. Very happy with the results. I would highly recommend this product.
All cans except one have several severe dent marks. The fact that it did not burst open surprised me. They were dented before they were ever boxed and the boxing was in perfect condition, so you know it was before the boxing. As a gift, these cans are not suitable for the recipient due to their poor condition. But, I couldn't give the cans to the recipient because they were so badly dented. It would not have been worth ordering, if I had known that all the cans were dented and banged up.

Kind of pricey. I'd check it out in the store first. If this is the only choice, this would be OK to take. I was very satisfied with the product, and it was fast to arrive.
There are no stores that carry this product in your area. Received what I ordered, and found them to be fine, albeit a few cans were damaged. Package came in a box similar to what you would find on a big box store shelf. Plastic wraps are wrapped around the cans inside a shallow cardboard tray.
It is never really as good as Bush's hominy, even when I make it myself.
