That is a $36 price. The number 49 is almost certainly for a Successful Salad case. I purchased one box at regular store price; I've found that sellers don't always make it clear how much you're getting for the price; hopefully this helps.

This pasta salad comes in handy when you're short on time. I make two boxes at a time, and when the pasta is boiling, I add a large bag of frozen broccoli and one can of kidney beans. When the pasta is done cooking, I run cold water over it to cool it down, then season it with Trader Joe's everyday seasoning to kick it up a notch, and the whole family devours it. You can add almost anything to this mix, but it's also delicious on its own. Betty Crocker's Suddenly Salad is a dish that I highly recommend.

I make my own salad by tossing in various vegetables and other ingredients. It's a good place to start. Red, green, and yellow peppers are among the ingredients I use. In the frozen meat case, I also found celery and cubed ham. Also available are various types of cubed cheese. You should give it a shot. To add flavor, I drizzle it with Italian salad dressing. YUM.
