The following is from the Amazon description: EXTREMELY FAST AND SIMPLE: Make a pasta salad that isn't as messy as usual; Simply boil the noodles, then drain and rinse with cold water before adding the seasonings. But now I'm reading the box's instructions. It says to use 1/2 cup mayonnaise for half a box of macaroni and cheese. How about half a box? What? Half a box, to be precise. It's one cup of mayonnaise and TWO seasoning packets if you use the entire box. If I want seasonings for both boxes, I guess I should throw away half of a box. It's ridiculous.

Because I usually make two boxes at a time, the twin packs are ideal: twenty minutes to layer, then chill. To give it a little extra zing, I add a minced can of Swanson chicken breast, as well as a lot of bacon bits. It's really good!.

For two people, this was a fantastic deal! If you have the time, I would drain it thoroughly and prepare it a few hours ahead of time to allow the flavors to meld.

This is a snack that I really enjoy. The box arrived in good condition, but when I opened it, the salad box that had been inserted within the shipment box had been crushed, spilling the contents. I throw out the entire box.
