In my experience, I used them with spaghetti and butter and they worked quite well (for one person, you only need two maybe three It had a smoky flavor as described, which is why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 stars. I liked the size of the mussels as well as how they were very tender and tender. For me, there was a for a little too much smoky flavor. But if you enjoy smoked mussels with a lot of smoky flavor, then I'm pretty sure they would be great for you. As I bought six tins of them, my next use will be to give them a good rinse to see if I can lessen the smoke taste. Overall, I'm happy with my purchase, but I wish they'd use a little less smoke flavoring. Just because of that, I will never purchase from them.

It was disappointing and not worth the money

There has been a consistent lack of taste in these mussels. A bland flavor is present, with little evidence of smoke. Several of them have sand or grit in them as well. The last thing I want to mention is that they are the smallest I've ever.
