It is illegal to make them in the EU and these are made in Spain so I would say to stay away from them.

My love of fresh mussels and Matiz's smoked sardines lead me to believe I would like it. However, I bought a shipment of these and a variety of other expensive smoked seafood from a company that sells other smoked fish that I also like, and I found that mussels do not take well to efforts to preserve them. It doesn't matter how I felt about them I didn't like them. I am inclined to think that if I did not like the product of Matiz or the other company, I will not like it, end of discussion. It is both first-class work that they do. For the sake of ensuring that the preserved mussels taste okay, I recommend picking up some canned/smoked mussels from your local grocery store. In any case, please don't reject Matiz just because this product doesn't appeal to you. I'm a big fan of their products when it comes to.
This was a purchase with others from Matiz, which I have enjoyed other products from. Because I didn't know what to expect, I stored these on the shelf for a while. I was surprised at how they tasted and how they were made. I really enjoy how well the mussels taste after adding vinegar. It adds a subtle yet bright flavor to It has a good texture, but it can also be spread. They are wonderful on crackers, but I imagine that they would be equally delicious on a salad or added to a sauce.
We also love Cole's Smoked Mussels, which we happen to buy at a culinary shop in Ashland, Oregon. As much as we wanted to try them, they were undoubtedly a great choice. There is nothing that compares to them. The mussels go well in salads, and for an appetizer, we spread a generous amount of Tuscan Kale Pesto by Radici of Tuscany (available on Amazon and in our culinary shop) on Mary's Gone Crackers Super Seed Classic Crackers and serve them with mussels. Oh my gosh. The crowd at parties goes crazy for these.
In the past, I've had mussels from the refrigerated part of the store that were way oilier, and far Combined with olive oil, cider vinegar, and spices, this marinade is delicious. It's lighter, and my opinion is that it's better. You can do it!.
I love the taste of these. It's almost a daily treat for me to have them with avocado on rice cakes. The taste is tangy, creamy, and just the right amount of salty. I was very pleased with the purchase!.
It looked like they were canned, but they tasted fresh. Initially, I was skeptical, but I used these as an appetizer plate with my boyfriend and we were quite pleased with the results. It was amazing, as they did not taste overcooked or mushy. They looked beautiful, and they were I did not take any pictures because we ate them so quickly!.
A warning label appears on the box that says, "This product may expose you to BPA. ". Due to the premium price and excellent quality, this is an inexcusable decision.
