That's not what we do. When I cook them at home, we pour lemon juice and a good squeeze of salt over them, but I'm from Spain, so we use both. Forks or maybe a coffee spoon are all we require to eat them. The brine we use does not really go to waste, so there is a small amount of fishing. If you must strain them, do not rinse them. I suppose you could strain them if you really wanted to.

As a result of the quality of this product I will purchase it again on a special occasion.
I thought it best to drain the brine of the cockles after placing them in a strainer. The taste of these isn't as good as when you get them straight from the ocean, but it's still okay. I can tell you they are the best that we have tried so far, out of what was.
I will purchase this product The first time I ate cockles was a first for me. I enjoyed them very much, and they were nutritious as well. Someone writes that they were so sour, and for me, they're fine with vinegar, but others found them quite salty. A mild and pleasant brine was found in the bath. It is something I would buy In addition, the sellers sent a nice note of thanks to me. It gives it a classy feel.
The photo on the metal can box made me think the cockles would be whole or in very large pieces, based on the picture. Then they were diced up. Before and after I rinsed them in cold water in a colander, I tasted them. No matter what the taste was, I did not like it. This would not be a purchase I would make.
It is difficult to cope with grit. This is nasty. As a seafood lover, I am passionate about it. There was so much grit in the mussels and snails that I threw them away instead of adding them to either seafood pasta or paella. This is bad.
While chewing the taste is alright but not much. I found some sand in the mouth but I would recommend the famous Matias Berber echos. It is not these which are the best. It is very hard to tell which ones my favorite is because the last time I did the same with the boquerones they increased the price by ten dollars.
The price is quite reasonable, even though the product is not the best.
The taste is very good, as it is in Spain.
I like it.
