Update 2/8/19 As I tried another can, I realized it wasn't as bad as I first thought. As a matter of fact, i added the entire can to a soup I was making to enhance the On top of that, the clams had already been boiled, which eliminated their chewiness. It now has three stars instead of two. I was disappointed in these clams - they were watery, slimy, and bland. The taste of them was pretty poor. The following observation occurred to me as soon as I saw the description - boiled baby clams. Because their taste was first boiled off (to flavor something else), then salt was added and they were canned. It wouldn't be my first choice to buy these.
You can use it for 100s of things. My family has come to rely on these almost every week.
