The price was about $1 for several of these. There are 80 cans per case. This is an excellent value for the price and taste. I'll keep a few of these in my pantry for whenever I'm feeling the need for a clam. They seem to have quite a bit of grit to My only information is that the cans were used to make chowder, so I am not sure if it was a single anomaly or if it was a whole lot. In my bowl of chowder, there were probably about two specs of "grit. " It was a big chunk of shell that I bit into that became my worst offender. The taste of canned clams might just be the nature of them, but I found it to be an unpleasant experience.

I was extremely disappointed with this product. In addition to the smell and taste being quite chemical in nature, the clams were quite rubbery in texture. I just wanted to point out that clams are extremely small Consider a pencil eraser pulled from its case. If you are considering another product, I strongly suggest you do so.

There was a crunch to every bite. What are the shell The sand? I have no idea what that is. It is gross.

It works nicely in clam sauce as a paste and to add clams to.

The paella tossed with pasta and warm buttered bread were my favorite ways to eat them. Smaller clams don't have a lot of meat, so they're not very tasty. The quality may not be the best, but I can still use it when fresh is not available.

It was cloudy broth with a tablespoon or less of crushed clam at the bottom of my cans. They were all trashed by me. Clams are one of my favorite foods!.

This product has the right amount of flavor and value for the price Pasta was added to it. If I ate it out of the can, I might eat it badly Mix it with something to make it taste better.

The flavor was great, and for the size it was well worth the price.
