It aids in the immune system's enhancement; It also aids in the reduction of platelet levels. It's also been suggested as an alternative to chemotherapy in the case of cancer.
There is no date that I can find. I've had mine for about a year, and it's still in its original bag. I still have a glass now and then, and it's delicious.
It is, to the best of my knowledge. My blood counts are now normal after years of teaching Bio Chemm and being caffeine sensitive.br> br>For the first week, I'd start with half a boiling dose and gradually increase. Organics take time to complete their tasks.
The powder form is not currently available for purchase. However, Amazon has it listed.

I have a small tea brewer with a screen that keeps the leaves separate from the tea. In a large cup of hot water, I used 2 TBSP of leaf. It has a bitter taste to it. even with agave syrup as a sweetener and a squeeze of lemon I'm going to drink it twice a day to boost my platelet count. My platelets are at 85 because I have a weakened liver. My doctor has told me that it will not change, and that this is my "new normal. " My target weight is 150 pounds, which is on the lower end of the average range. After reading previous testimonials, I'm very excited and hopeful that I'll be able to achieve the same results as many of the people who left reviews. I believe that combining this tea with a fruit flavor tea, such as peach, would improve the flavor, but I'll give it a chance regardless. My next blood test isn't for another month. If it is a success, I will be overjoyed. I'll let you know what happens.
My platelet count increased from 115 to 150 after a month of drinking one cup of this nasty bitter tasting tea. It tastes better when combined with green tea. br>br>Following Up: After an 8-month hiatus, the count has recently returned to 114.
This is the magic that has helped my platelets recover from bone marrow disease, which had caused them to plummet to dangerously low levels. I take it with a papaya leaf extract syrup, and the combination has helped me improve my overall blood health, particularly my thrombocytes (platelets), which are a common problem for many people for a variety of reasons. This tea has a mild flavor, and the leaves are fresh and plentiful. I steep the leaves in hot water and, because the tea is mild, I may add a fresh lemon for flavor. I've also made a cold brew with a fruit/tea infuser. Because it has a mild flavor, people may want to combine it with other fruits/herbs or whatever else they have on hand to add flavor. It's refreshing as well as a very useful supplement in my healthcare supplementation, and I keep it cold on hand alongside regular water for hydration.
CERTIFIED ORGANIC BY THE UNITED STATES DEPARTMENT OF AGRICULTURE! I've been using it to check my blood platelet count, and I've noticed a significant reduction in red/purple specks or spots on my body as a result of internal bleeding. I'm so glad this stuff is available for purchase! Thank you for your time.
Organic papaya leaves from Starwest Botanicals arrived in perfect condition and on time. When I opened the package, I was greeted by a pleasant aroma of dry, fresh-smelling papaya leaves (of excellent quality). br>br>Taste: eh, not so good, but I didn't buy them for that reason. My platelets were 30 when I finished chemo. I read on the internet that papaya leaves can help you get more platelets, so I decided to give it a shot. After five days of drinking 8 ounces of dark tea once a day, my platelets had increased to over 200. Is it possible that my platelets would have naturally rebounded with time? Is it worth it to put off treatment? NO.
But seriously, this is enough leaves to last five years. In the grand scheme of things, it's a steal, but if you have a friend or neighbor who needs a cup or two of papaya leaves, you'll have plenty to go around!.
This is not a criticism of Starwest as a company; rather, it is a critique of the plant. This herb is supposed to be consumed as a tea to aid in blood sugar control. There isn't enough sugar in the Caribbean to make this herb taste less bitter; I'm not sure if licorice root would be enough to kill it. By comparison, mullein tastes like candy, which I despise. Starwest Botanicals produces excellent products, but unless you were born with it, you may not enjoy it.
Payaya Leaf tea was recommended by a cancer patient I know who is undergoing chemo and boosted platelets with papaya boil. I was diagnosed with low platelet count, immuno deficiency tests, and Hep tests were all negative. br>I don't have cancer, but all of my blood tests were normal, with the exception of platelets, which could be due to my blood pressure medication. Sobr>I started it when I got home from the hospital a week ago; it should take about ten days to see an increase in platelets, with a blood draw every week. I took 1/4 of the package, boiled it down to 1 quart in 1 gallon water, cooled it down, and kept it in the fridge for up to 5 days. It was very astringent, so I made it extra strong because I'm taking it three times a day in a one-cup sipped dose, and it's easy to swallow. The quality is far superior to the organic store down the street. br>We'll find out in a week or so. I was simply relieved that it was available and arrived promptly. I'm hoping to get a new platelet count to verify the effect.
