In a serving size of four ounces, one bowl = one serving. In each package, you will find four bowls.
It is the same product I buy a lot of and I too have experienced the same problem. About one out of every twenty cups of red grapefruit has broken pieces instead of the whole wedges that are preferred. It is likely that automated machines fill each cup as it is moved along a packing line. The machines are programmed to disperse 4 ounces of grapefruit in each cup, but I doubt if the machines know or care much about packing consistent wedge shapes on each The size of the quantities is 4 ounces. *br>All of them taste good to me, so it isn't much of a bother to me. Even though I appreciate the occasional cup full of pieces, I even love the cup full of perfect and delicious grapefruit wedges It goes on like that.
Amazon contacted me directly about this when it happened to me
The fruit bowls come with 24 pieces each. In each carton, you receive 4 bowls, so you get a "6 pack" of bowls. The box contains 6 cartons, each containing 4 bowls. The result is 24 bowls if 6 x 4 is multiplied by 4.

As a result, I ordered two boxes of the grapefruit sections, which have arrived intact, and I have enjoyed them. I ordered another box, but the bottom of the display box had mold in it, and the cute little screws came off with the small 4-inch screw The packs were sticky and moldy, so I threw them away. The product will no longer be on my shopping list, and I will not be renewing my subscription.
Even though I love red grapefruit, these tiny little cups of red grapefruit are not worth the calories. The red grapefruit products from Del Monte's are murky compared to these. In addition, it's almost impossible to open these without a knife because you have to cut around the inside rim, then carefully pull back the As a result, the "portability" factor is eliminated. The lid will be difficult to grip and wrestle off for kids and seniors Even if they manage to wrestle the lid off, they will find that juice/water spills all over them and everything else around them. notice a big difference between Del Monte and store bought red grapefruit bowls - Contains more fruit in each 7 oz bowl and is much easier to open and enjoy without getting juice all over the place.
Earlier today, on December 10, I received a package of Dole grapefruit in the mail. In 2017, the expiration date for this grant was set at It is not acceptable for me or my family members to consume something that has expired over a year ago.
I agree with others who have noted the glue is very strong and the juice gets all over when you It would be better if they used some kind of pull-based system A tabular system is used. If you want to do the better thing, communicate with 3M and ask them to design a more suitable However, the product is a truly delicious and otherwise convenient one, and we've eaten too many for us to bother counting. A UPDATED VERSION It has been a long time since we last spoke As we both (individually) practiced, we found a way to open these bottles by "tipping" the juice away from the opening then carefully prying it open. Could a new glue or design be in the works? Perhaps upgrading to 5 stars is a good idea. I love it.
I've gotten it at my local grocery store in the refrigerated section of the produce department. It has a slightly mushier texture than Del Monte SunFresh 64oz jars. Additionally, the taste of the fruit was a bit less fresh and It must be because they are cooked so they can be stored in the refrigerator. Like fresh and canned peaches (which are two completely different kinds of food), fresh peaches have more stability. To be honest, I bought these for the price they're on the shelf The odd position of using two mini-computers has made me want to make sure that they are stable The refrigerator in my house is replaced by a chest freezer, so I don't have room for a standard refrigerator. Large packages don't fit easily into my house, so if I get that, I have to repack them into smaller containers. Also, I would like to see a sugar-free option Both the packaged-liquid option (like Del Monte does) and the free liquid option are offered In addition to that, I'm a big fan of grapefruit juice as a diabetic, they really help me keep my blood sugars balanced, and the juice is packed with vitamins and minerals that are perfect for me. A glass of juice is better than a cup of coffee While sugar content is still fairly low (but frugal me cannot throw out the juice), it is basically like soda pop with vitamins. My boyfriend loves the taste of them, and they fit into the tiny iceboxes I have, and I am becoming accustomed to the texture and taste. However, I am trying hard to eliminate as much plastic from my food purchases as possible, especially single-serve items. There are cups made of plastic with tear-off edges, and these come in plastic Take off the plastic film tops instead of the reusable snap caps You can find them on the Although I have no doubts that it reduces product tampering and leaks, I really cannot stand the idea that I contribute to more ocean pollution and hormone disruption with my fruit habit. I'm going to go back to the monster to see if I can find any By repackaging into small jam jars I keep for that purpose, I can fit the size DelMonte jar in.
There has never been a shipment of grapefruit as bad as this one. It is the first time this kind of shipment has been made to me. I am used to getting grapefruit that comes with segments to eat, but this one did not arrive with any. Please take a glance at the pictures. There is no juice in the bowls, even the contents are gone two of the cartons are black -- what has happened there? Could mold be a problem? The two packs shown here are out of the four. Upon opening the other packings, I realized there were no grapefruit segments in any of them, so I just tossed them all. I'm afraid to eat any of the segments even though only 3 bowls appear to have them. This was a return option, not a return or replace option. There is no way for me to To illustrate the problem of no edible segments, I opened up the big bowl to show the small segment issue. In the big bowl there might still be some partial segments, but dang, they look If I were to receive a refund, I would appreciate it! It is recommended that you do so.
It became too late for me to do anything about it, so I After noticing a few weeks later that gnats were flying around, I noticed them. As I went through the cartons, I realized I had missed the one that was damaged. As a result of being exposed to the air, this fruit cup was full of gnats and mold. After trying one cup, I had to throw out the rest because I felt too grossed out to eat any. While I'm sure the rest of them would have been fine, I did not want to take a chance with those left over.
Most of the cups leaked (the juice was lower than full and foamed when shaken up, so there was some air leaking) and I had to toss out about 1/3 of the cups. In one cup I found a ball of mold that had emptied out. While that pack of 4 looked perfect, the other 3 cups didn't seem to be. Overall, I am not happy with the value when you have to throw out about one third of what you purchased. The only problem is that it is hard to find these anywhere!.
