What happened to the tangy salsa taste - Was this chipolte supposed to take its place?

The Chipolte cans we bought on Amazon tasted exactly like a regular can of refried beans, with no flavor. We were able to find them again in the store, and they had the same zesty flavor as before. I'm not sure if they slapped a Chipotle label on a regular can of refried beans and sold them as Chipotle, but they weren't Chipotle.

I completely forgot about the chipotle

We frequently purchase this brand in the North and enjoy it. We like it a lot. When we couldn't find it in any of the grocery stores in the South, I ordered it from Amazon. This was the blandest refried bean I've ever had. It doesn't taste like Chipotle in the least. Is this seller selling a product that does not comply with the manufacturer's specifications?.

It's in the pantry, but it's becoming increasingly difficult to come by in a local supermarket. It's only available at one store, and it's the busiest. I never go there because it is overpriced for the area. I was very pleased to find it at a lower cost and have it delivered via Prime.
