The best buy date is January 19 2021, according to the box I received.

What is the shelf life of these items? What about vacuum-sealed Mylar bags or dry canned goods? Thanks?

On the bags of Santiago Excel Refried beans, there was an expiration date or a best if used by date.

Is it a vegetarian dish?

Because of the lard and salt in the beans, this is not a viable option.

In the last two months, we've ordered three cases
5/5

We season them with a little extra salt and they're better than any other bean. even from Mexican restaurants, which is saying a lot given that we live in Southern California.

They Hit It Right On The Head
5/5

It's difficult to believe the beans don't contain any MSG or other flavor enhancers. The lard/beans combination is always a winner, and believe me, it must have taken quite a bit of food science engineering to get the quality product you have here. It has a remarkable smoothness to it, with a nice concentration of partially mashed up beans here and there to give it a slight chew, but it's pasty enough to please any frijole-obsessed palate. Because it's so nice for burritos essentially, the overall quality in terms of texture and taste to many inexpensive Mexican places, and I would prefer this style to some even more gourmet places. You get a ridiculous amount of beans for your money. This is possibly the best, if not the best, nutritional value for the dollar spent that you will find. When it comes to cooking simplicity, all you have to do is boil some water and stir it for a minute. You don't have to put in as much effort, but if you enjoy cooking, it's a nice way to assist it. Because you can always add a pinch more beans or a splash more water to get the right proportion without measuring, it's very easy to get the right proportion without measuring. If you want a more fast food flavor, add salt, but if you want a delicious instant refried bean dish, you won't be disappointed. br>br>This is the type of product that you'll want to return to time and time again. Winner by a long shot.

THESE BEANS ARE INCREDIBLY DELICIOUS! I make Mexican-style beans on a regular basis and frequently turn them into re-fried beans
5/5

beans fried in oil However, if you don't have any soaked or cooked pinto beans on hand and want to make a tasty bean dip or nachos, these are a quick and easy solution. They have a re-enactment of the re-enactment of the Fried chicken from a Mexican restaurant, and who doesn't like that? br>Excellent for back-up survival. up food. It is simple to keep. Simple to work with. br>It's even better with a dash of hot sauce and a sprinkling of cheese. br>I'm hungry now after reading this review.

5 minutes to make a chemical-free refried bean? Yes, please! Read the label on a can of refired or canned whole beans to find out what's in it
5/5

This recipe contains lard (which is delicious). salt and beans (it's good for you, look it up) Thats it. Simply bring some water to a boil, and presto! Keep it warm by mixing it together. I check the cosistance after 5 minutes to ensure it isn't too thick. There's no need for a pot because I mix it in a heat-resistant serving bowl. If I want it to taste "special," I'll add some chorizo and cheese. However, it is sufficient on its own. Save a ton of money by purchasing in bulk.

It makes a quick dip for chips and burritos, and I wish it came in black bean as well.

Yummy

Scratch is always preferable, but when you need a lot of things done quickly, this is my go-to method. They keep well in the freezer and can be reheated. It has more flavor than canned food.

Wow, good refried beans at long last! Cooking pinto beans is a dyslexic experience for me
5/5

They never turn out quite right, whether I make them on the stove or in my instant pot. All I have to do is add hot water to make these beans taste like I'm eating out. I don't have to cook, mash, season, or anything; they're just delicious! I told my sister about them, and now she's hooked as well!.
