Selected User Reviews For Amazon Brand - Happy Belly Pinto Beans, 15 Ounce
This batch of beans was plump and unblemished - Although not of the highest quality, it was delicious when cooked with garlic, onions, carrots, and celery. It's a winner when you add smoked paprika, parsley, sage, rosemary, and thyme, as well as a pinch of white pepper. You can also use some of your favorite vegetables, herbs, and spices; a quarter teaspoon or two per can is about right for spices - Please exercise caution; a little more if you're using a favorite seasoning, and a little less of everything else If you want to play around with beans, do so; I prefer savory beans over sweet ones. Unless they're baked beans, beans don't taste good. When the spices listed above are added to the beans, they become incredible.
They. Are. Beans. br>br>How do you go wrong with beans? No clue. br>br>However, these pass the canned pinto bean test. Happy Belly has proven to be dependable time after time.
That's right, people, I said it! These beans are CLASS A BEANS, which means they are of the highest quality. From my heart to yours, I give you this review about the happy belly beans, and oh my lord, would I buy them over and over again.
These pinto beans are delicious. They are the subject of only two of my complaints. Pop music is my favorite. I can find top tins at local markets, for example. Walmart is number two. On Amazon, these are about 11 cents more per tin. That may not seem like much, but when you buy a lot of beans, it adds up to a significant difference at the end of the year.
I'm Mexican American, and these aren't your fast food beans; they're much better. Smashed fried beans for burritos and serving on the side are delicious and fresh. If you don't have time to boil beans for two hours, this brand is a great option.
It's both cheap and easy! It is impossible to make a mistake! When you don't have time to cook beans from scratch, this is a good side dish to have on hand. To be honest, you can't tell the difference most of the time!.
