I can't seem to find any canned beans that aren't hardened with a chemical. These are chemical-free and healthy.
Although these pinto beans have a pleasant flavor, the cans are primarily made up of (beany) water. There aren't nearly as many beans in each can as any other brand I've tried. You get the impression that you've been cheated.
These pinto beans in a can are one of our favorites. We like how versatile they are, and my husband uses them to make delicious refried beans. In fact, we keep at least one can on hand at all times.
