It doesn't seem to mention whether this is a GMO product, despite my checking the can.
It does not say anything about that on the label.
Officially, the can does not say whether the lining is made of BPA or not. I checked yet another empty can for plastic, and no plastic was found.
They must be seasoned before eating, so these beans are not yet ready to eat.

Though I have eaten lots of beans, GOYA beans are by far the best beans on the planet. Our country needs people like Goya, a great company owned and operated by patriots!.
These beans are the best on the market, as is the seasoning that goes with them.
I used these for a salsa/dip recipe that used black beans. The beans were great. American company that has great products.
A great deal of value was provided for the money. I imagine there are at least a hundred beans inside each can. At a cost of less than a penny per bean, the value is astounding. These will be on my shopping list for years to come. In most cases, you won't experience excess gas after washing them.
Compared to other brands, this is not as good. There were a lot of watery parts - I was disappointed in that. It really doesn't have as many beans in it as it should! I also find the taste funny. In contrast to the other brands I have tried, their Chile is much better. Paying a bit more for a better brand is definitely worth it.
reviewed the description of these canned beans several times, and nowhere in it is it mentioned that these are damaged goods or seconds. Although six cans were delivered in shrink-wrapped packages, one was found to be inedible A box with a perfect wrap, but 4 of the boxes are quite dented, one even half dented! Even if I ate them, I am not sure how they would affect me. I have been having trouble finding these vegetarian options at my local grocery store because my teenage daughter is a vegetarian. I usually like Goya's products, but the condition of these cans is alarming and not at all what I expected when I spent over $3 on them. The price of a can is $2. 00.
Goya is not to be supported. There is nothing good about Goya. It is possible to find better black beans It is completely flavorless and way too expensive. In addition to watery beans and cans, other reviewers mentioned that they were dented as well.
Despite the fact that their packaging was fine, all of the cans appear to be dented, and it's not safe to consume food from a dented can. This will be returned to the manufacturer.
