Because I believe no company should be boycotted because of their political views, I purchased this product. Furthermore, their beans are the best I've ever tasted.
There are 470 mg of salt in half a cup of these beans. A low sodium or no salt added product cannot be called a low sodium product. Compared to these, the regular can consumes smaller amounts of sodium. THERE IS A GROSS FALSE ADVERTISEMENT HERE! - I'm on a strict low sodium diet, (at what point are you doing this to me and the rest of us . . . ).
A large number of cans were damaged and leaking so we had to throw them away. Dents are present in the rest of the cans.
It was my first time buying beans online in larger quantities. The only issue is that buying two or more 12-ounce bags would be too much. Often times, you have to lift cans quite a bit. As a result of COVID, I live on the second floor and have a surgically-repaired arm that cannot be properly PT'd. While it was a bit challenging getting up the stairs, I should have anticipated Anyway, I think this product is good.
The taste and texture of other brands have been better to me.
It is the only brand I've found to be better tasting.
The first can with dinner was excellent. I enjoy the second can as well. The packaging is great too! Great flavor and great taste!.
