My first experience with these (the beef too) was okay, but upon purchasing them a second time, I would not purchase them again. There is no difference in taste between them. However, even after I tried to "doctor them up", nothing worked.

I can honestly say that this is the best meatless item I've ever tried. The taste reminds me of the cafeteria hamburgers I ate as a kid. Even if you gave me the choice between this and White Castle sliders with real beef, I would opt for the former. I don't really like the chicken ones very much, they are bland, but these are awesome.
