It didn't take much product in a large pan just a few teaspoons went a long way. I used the smaller container first. In the same fat, I fried several steaks and some hamburger meat for three or four days in a row and they stayed clean and delicious. Even when placed in the refrigerator, duck fat does not solidify. I read this in one of the reviews. The other person talked about something white and solid, so I don't know what they meant. I put the item into the refrigerator and now it is white and solid. My favorite part of it is that the gallon container is on its way. As best as I can tell, the gallon container is a great value for the price. I just finished a steak cooked in the duck fat and it was excellent. The product adds flavor to my food and it is very economical. I am not a great cook, but I use it sometimes.
A duck fat roasted potato will make sense to anyone who has eaten it. The ones who don't have it look at me strangely and think, "Dude, why do you have a tub of fat in the freezer?"? In addition to its excellent quality, the packaging and flavor of this product is something I am truly happy about. It's also very cool that it does not need to be refrigerated until opened. A free gift of two black garlic cloves was also included, which was received very quickly, well packaged, and with clearly written instructions for storing and using the product. Despite its strong aroma, the black garlic came with some recipes and a pamphlet about the plant. Trying the black garlic is on my list of things to do! This seller will definitely be my first choice when I need duck fat or if these black garlic cloves prove to be a hit (which I'm almost certain they will- You are going to love how they smell)!.

In addition to our order, I also prepared a scallop recipe with the black garlic that was also included for free Scallops are now my new favorite thing! The duck fat in this product is of excellent quality. It does not contain any moisture. When I've bought other brands of duck fat with high moisture content, it goes bad way too fast.

It would seem as though I'm eager to fry all types of things, but first you must have enough oil to fry with and these little pieces of oil are tough to come by It's not worth it to use tiny buckets.
It is not cheap, but if you like to cook, you should have it in your kitchen. You can make fabulous roast potatoes if you use it.
