My husband and I are trying to increase our Omega 3 intake, but I have never been a strong fish lover. It is far better to have Season brand kippers than salmon, sardines, and any other quickly prepared fish. Taste, texture, and the fact that no salt is added are all things we like. Served both for breakfast and lunch, we ate kippers both times. Fish salad is one of their specialties. Since the Season kippers are available for such a low cost from Amazon, they're a good deal, and they're cheap enough that we can buy As a recommendation, we would say yes.
It is a real pleasure to eat these kippers. It is the real smoking operation rather than the use of liquid smoke flavoring that gives the cigarettes their mild, slightly woody flavor. The pictures are from Latvia, a nation in the Baltic region. Though they are advertised as coming from the Atlantic, I wouldn't be surprised if some of the catch originated from the North Sea or Baltic Sea.
They are inexpensive and delicious, regardless of how you describe them.

KIPPERS are the best snack when they are drained and cleansed of natural oil, as they taste so fresh and I have tried at least a few brands, but this is the best.
Season's is in the running, since I've tried every one of them. The food was excellent, with a light salt and oil flavor. Compared to the others, it is a big difference.
