Yes, I agree! It is my first time taking part in a crab boil, and I am a total amateur. After finishing my research on the Internet, I watched You Tube videos, read a million blogs, and took part in an online discussion. After much consideration, I decided to go with this seasoning. I was unsure of exactly what we were supposed to do during our boil, but the results were incredible. This is a good option for those who don't know a lot about cooking but want to do a tasty boil. There was no excess salt or spice in the meal This was a perfect fit for us.
If you're going to have a crawfish boil, this is the stuff you'll want. The amount of a 4 I use is slightly higher than that. The container holds 15 gallons at a weight of 5 pounds. With a few lemons and quartered onions, I finish it off. Put the pot on the stove for one minute, turn it off and let it soak for fifteen It's not an option for me to take a soak. In addition to tossing the crawfish and veggies in it if people complain that the creole seasoning I usually use is too spicy, I also use it to make a cooler batch of gumbo.
When I ordered the "pack of three" option for the 73oz crab boil (for a huge mark-up, btw, but really, I live in the north, so what can you do) and only received two, I was really upset. Although I'm not sure if there was a mix up, whatever the case is, I'm not going to be able to boil all the crawfish I have today as a result.
It is 73 ounces in size of Zatarain's Crawfish, Shrimp and Lobster, and It is called a crab boil. There was only one pack sent despite the description stating it was a 6-pack. In spite of this, I like the product quite a bit.
I did some research and discovered that the experts prefer Zatarains so I gave it a try and I thoroughly Everybody at the seafood boil was very pleased with the flavor of this. It was just spicy enough with a lot of flavor.
In order to make low country boil, I used a 36 quart turkey fryer. In addition to the amount of water recommended (about 4 gallons of cold water), I added three measuring cups of the crab boil mix before bringing it to a boil. It was important for me to add the potatoes, corn, onions, sausage, mushrooms, and shrimp at the proper time so nothing overcooked. There was nearly enough for the pot to be brimming over. My flame was turned off after about 15 minutes. I let it soak in water for an additional There were raves about the meal among all the guests. The seafood boil mix I have is enough for another dozen batches.
When I make shrimp, I love to use this seasoning.
