Clams do not have sugar in them at all. I have never tasted anything as good as these clams. It is soft and does not chew like most of them do. The product is great.

What is the location of the harvest and processing of these clams?

They are processed a few miles away from Cape May, NJ - as far as I know. As a kid growing up in South Jersey, I spent most of my time in between My family used to drive 30 miles to Cape May for fresh lobster and shrimp from the docks plus years ago. Years ago, 25 cents per pound was the standard price for either.

The pinkness is closer to minced than chopped, isn't it? The product I smelled smelled acrid to me, so apparently my sense of smell has become more acute

had no reason to keep it, but there may have been nothing wrong with My Manhattan Clam Chowder soup would've benefited from a more finely chopped onion. The number 6 is usually what I use. Since this large can came in a 5 oz can, I had to make a fairly large soup to accommodate it and ended up- We're going to use 8 and You can use 5 oz cans instead.

I'm hungry now

The product I used to be able to get on the east coast was fantastic. The soup is still good, but you have to purchase it in smaller cans since they don't.

The packing was not good, but the fitting was ok
3/5

I made clam sauce that was decent. They appeared to be fresh and pink and white, but one of the cans was I don't know whether I should return or keep it since it wasn't leaking. Another can was just fine. It was inside a box, wrapped up in plastic. I thought the packing job was lame.

The whistle blows
5/5

My mistake I didn't realize the size of the can was likely restaurant size. I will freeze half of it in case I make Linguini with clam sauce for a big party later. It is because I've previously eaten La Monica clams that I chose to purchase this type of clam. Aside from how beautiful they are, they have a very good taste, too.

It had more clams and less broth than Sea Watch, but was about the same size and taste as Sea Watch
3/5

Although this product was presented to us as having more clams and a little less broth than Sea Watch, it actually had roughly the same amount and was a little more expensive. We will continue to stick with the Sea Watch brand in the future.
