The taste is great together, but I've never tried the meat in a plain hamburger. It's my fault.

A great deal of fat and gristle in the bones. There is no doubt that this lamb is of low quality. I am very pleased with the first batch that I ordered. I was unable to eat the second and third. I do not recommend this company since it is inconsistant every time.
