Even though the label describes the leg as "fresh," it was still It turned out to be a good thing since it took 3 days for the item to be delivered. In a Styrofoam container, the leg looked completely frozen and looked as though it had been shipped on dry ice. By the time the package reached me, the dry ice had evaporated but the leg was still fully frozen. My assumption is that it was pretty fresh and had been frozen just for shipping, rather than being frozen for many months prior to being shipped. The one I had weighed seven pounds. On the nose, the dog weighs 5 pounds. The food tasted great when it was grilled Lamb that is as tender and flavorful as any lamb I have bought in the past. The Easter basket was a little pricey, but I couldn't find anything like it locally so I was happy to get it.
In addition to being three days late, the lamb I order was not frozen when I received it. Although it is cold, I worry if the meat is safe for consumption after being packed in an insulated box with basic ice instead of dry ice.
There is a small amount of food leftover but we were able to feed 10 people. There were no complaints about the taste and the texture (prepared sous vide was quite tender).

A piece of lamb weighing 2 pounds was sent to me. Originally, I thought this piece would be larger. The product I ordered was very fresh when it arrived and had a pleasant taste. My order arrived on time.

Make sure you always have the bone in place. You will never eat beef again - simply remove the seal, place in a 350° oven and bake.
