It has an ethereal quality to it. Cajun is a term used by some. You keep eating it, searching for that ethereal hit of spicy, hot, and salty flavor. Then you come across it. Repeat. If you're a so-called "crybaby pusscake," proceed with caution. a lot of salt-a lot of heat-a lot of sugar-a lot of sugar-a lot vegan- This isn't for you because of this and that. This should only be attempted by true adventurers. As if they were people with lives to live, mountains and rivers to cross.
Look somewhere else if you want that rubbery, mass-produced, boring flavor nonsense. This is real beef jerky, the kind that tears into little threads when you tear it apart because it's so dry, but is still chewy and tasty. If you're a beef jerky connoisseur, you'll know what I mean when I say "natural" style. I discovered this while living in Ohio for a few years, and now that it's on Prime, I'll probably eat enough to justify a subscription. My favorite is Cajun, which is mildly spicy and full of salty goodness. You'll never go back to settling for consumer garbage.
While I was visiting my son out of state, he bought a bag of this at a Pilot station, and it had a great Cajun flavor. So I immediately went to Amazon to place an order; the brand and name were the same, but the packaging was slightly different; the bag he had was the same branding but in a foil package; however, I ordered it so it would be delivered to my house by the time I arrived. I got it, and to my surprise, it was terrible. I was so upset because I had a mouthful of salty jerky with no Cajun flavor, and I had wasted time and money ordering it. I have the regular flavor, which was ordered at the same time and is due to arrive next week, which I would cancel if I could.

Mingua Cajun Style Beef Jerky is spicy and delicious! This jerky is perfect for those who enjoy spicy foods. It's slightly drier than soft, but not excessively so. It's a little on the expensive side, but it's well worth it. When I'm in Kentucky, I grab a couple of bags or order it from Amazon and have it delivered to the great state of Texas!.
This is now my favorite jerky brand, and it's not just because I'm a Kentucky native. I also enjoy the mild and BBQ flavors. When I was deployed, my mother sent me about ten bags in a care package, and everyone on my team enjoyed it. I'm certain I'll purchase more.
Over the years, I've tried a lot of different brands of beef jerky, and this is by far the best. The jerky is easy to tear and has few if any fatty spots. The Cajun flavor is tasty and spicy, with a great overall flavor that isn't too hot.
I'm a big fan of this jerky. It has an incredible flavor. Unlike other gas station jerkey, I appreciate how dry it is. The cajun is out of this world.
